Tell us, what are you working on today?
I'm catching up on some tasks for my day job that I've been procrastinating, and gathering everything I need to complete our personal and corporate taxes next week.
What are you working on?

Our space travel web site updates, a ton of people currently in the air/stuck on the ground, and the clock on the wall.

Writing install scripts for the linux machines our developers use. Installing a virtual linux machine on my linux machine so I can test the install scripts. Watching a sharepoint migration chug along (based on current progress it'll be done on Saturday...). Fixing some bugs on the redesign of the corporate website.
The funny thing is, I was hired as a tech writer...

In a paused phase at work due to planners around here not really knowing what to do. So, I have written a method to fix an problem with one of my Android apps and just been studying different things to pass the time to when I get home to implement this fix and load an update.

Starting over on my Tile Engine project in XNA. I've decided that the way I had been going about certain aspects was making things overly complicated and inefficient so I've decided to start over from scratch and only implement what I need, when I need it. Also, continuing the hunt for a programming job since my current employer hired someone else to fill the open programmer slot here even after I was told that they were not going to hire any more programmers and if they did decide to hire someone, they would let me know and try me out in the position first.

Apple decided to provide replacement top-covers for all the non-uni-body MacBooks becuase of a manufacturing defect that caused it to crack. I'm the lucky guy that get's to replace all 300 of them at my school! That's going to take me a while; I can do about 4 an hour pending no mistakes and no other damage and I can only work on them about 2 hours a day
300/8 == over a month of monotonous work
also working though some more advanced C++ books right now.

Coded a SOAP web service using JAX-WS and Spring. Surprisingly simple. Also creating some Groovy-scripted SOAP UI mock services for times when the dev services are down (which is far too often)

A bunch of stuff actually
At work, I'm setting up a lab to test our products in-house. The Gas Chromatograph arrived and I'm now building tables to help the work flow of all my different testing stations.
Then I made the mistake of stopping in and visiting my previous employer and was discussing a program I'm working on to record all our test results and generate our Certificates Of Analysis and such and he asked me If I would re-write a program I had done to generate Receiving Inventory Tags so that they could use it in Windows. I had to laugh because they have the old OS\2 Server still running just so they have access to this program. It's the ONLY thing they're using it for. So... me being the nice guy that I am decided I could spend a couple of hours re-writing it.
Of course at home, I'm rebuilding some cabinets for my girlfriend and I'm actually about to get in trouble for being in here typing this instead of out there getting them done
