PSX emulation. Finally getting some good results.
BIOS SCPH-7000

Still a very long way to go though. Still many sleepless nights of debugging ahead before anything really interesting (playable games) happens.

I think I'm gonna start a new campaign in shogun; I made a blitzkrieg for the shogunate and took out about 3/4's it's army with only 700 men. the shogunate has a HUGE army, it's insane. I lost 2 of my generals(only have 2 left) and all my towns are weekly defended AND a bunch of people declared war on me. I think it's safe to say I should've stopped somewhere along the way and built my army before continuing.

Well, survival is for weirdos.
Jk, you can also use an xray mod or texture pack, but 99.9% of servers ban them.

actually I've found a mathematically robust way to mine for diamond. It's totally possible to get that kind of diamond, it's just an ass-load of work, best undertaken by a team of people but totally doable on your own. Just go down to bedrock as your base layer, dig a main shaft- mine is 6 x 6, but this dimension doesn't matter - and in the walls from that shaft dig exploratory tunnels, 1 x 2, in a pattern with 3 blocks between each horizontally and with the next layer up being 2 blocks up, with 1 block between entrances (see ascii art in spoiler) as deep as you can without dying. I typically dig 50-100 blocks one way, dig two up and over the next way, and dig 100 blocks back, and it's typically 10-15 minutes of solid digging for me to find diamond ore at any given time. Keeps me with enough iron in stock to have golems guarding my ass, and it's a good idea to block of these tunnels- at least partially- with a gravel block or similar in case creepers spawn there.
Edit: Good job, Tifa!

Today, thus far: loaded the car with stuff for donation to Goodwill, stopped by a freelance client's house to pick up a thumb drive containing 300 images she wants scaled and made into a carousel gallery on her website, dropped off the aforementioned junk at Goodwill, ran to Walmart (which I hate with the white hot intensity of a thousand suns) to pick up a site-to-store order, stopped to visit with my momma for lunch, picked up some groceries to get us through the week, started the laundry, packed and scrubbed the bathroom, cleaned the fridge, defrosted the freezer, washed the dishes, moved out all the appliances and thoroughly bleached the kitchen floor, and reloaded the car for another Goodwill run.
Now, I'm taking a short break before making dinner (freezer aisle FTW!) and starting on packing up and scrubbing out the lower cupboards and making a final Goodwill run before getting a shower and calling it a night.
Things I forgot to do today: get the mail (we don't have rural or door-to-door delivery here, post office boxes only), buy toilet paper (thank the invisible people in the sky for Kleenex), pick up the stack of empty boxes dad has been hoarding for me.
Tomorrow - if I'm still able to move - it's cleaning and packing all the upper cupboards, finishing the laundry, packing the living room, and my walk-in closet/office. If there's time, I'll work on the rest of my room tomorrow night. And probably at least two more trips to Goodwill before the day's out.

Thank you. I'd be glad to take the slothful road the rest of the week if anyone wants to volunteer to come finish the rest this crap for me.
