Above the right eyebrow? Tension headaches can occur there. That's where my constant headache is, and the VA can't decide if it's a tension headache or TBI.

Could also be a lack-of-sleep induced headache.... coffee isn't helping much at this point. I think I may take a nap when I get home. :sleep1:

Mentally twiddling my thumbs and trying to entertain elaborate plans on how I can bounce out early and go to the gym or just not be here... in the mean time I wonder if I look silly to the field managers that are wandering around as I bounce around to 'Just like Heaven' and tinker on an odd comment system I sketched out over lunch a few weeks ago.

Contemplating the rapid development of restroom facilities - considering the following:
1). 2 Shitters
2). Never available for use because we have a 100:2 ratio here and for some reason everyone needs to shit at the same time.
3). Ability to work remotely is no longer and option so a trip to the local starbucks is out of the question.

POPULAR

Assume 10 minutes per visit.
If everyone visits once per day, that's 500 minutes per crapper.

8 hour day means 480 minutes in the working day. You're fucked by 20 minutes per can.

That would make the greatest middle school math word problem ever.

Can we get a Caffeine Lounge coding challenge going to model this?

given a number of crappers and a set of N people's shit taking time, write a function to compute how many minutes Nykc is fucked by on average. you may assume that this value will always be greater than 0.

or for more challenge...

given a number of crappers and a set of people's shit taking schedule, compute the optimal eating schedule for Nykc assuming that he must eat 2000 calories a day, it takes 4 hours for food to digest, and he must take a shit after 2000 calories have been digested.

Write a simulation that displays the queuing behavior of NYKC's co-workers throughout the workday, with reasonable assumptions about distribution of need-to-crap (normal distribution, or loaded to favor a post-break shit, or hack into NYKC's workplace and use actual schedule data from Outlook calendars). You may assume that anyone still in line to crap at 5:00 goes home annoyed.
For added reasonableness, discard my assumption that each episode of pooping takes ten minutes, and use a normal distribution around some reasonable value. Don't get caught hanging around in the company restroom with a stopwatch.

Extra points for animated behaviors displaying frustration as time in queue increases - fidgeting, tapping feet, steam from ears, crapping in potted plant are some examples.

I am enjoying the assumption that everyone in the office pencils their daily restroom use directly into Outlook.

Not exactly what I was thinking... I was thinking more along the lines of "when you're in a meeting, you're not pooping*"

"* unless something has gone terribly wrong"

Time tracking. If it's not on the Outlook Calendar, it better be logged in Version One :)

Another item to factor into the equation is the food type consumed for the day. Indian Buffet is almost always out of the question, as with Mexican 85% of the time. Choices are left to Asian Buffet, Burgers and Fries or the ever so popular and healthy pizza!
