After a really crappy turn of events yesterday, today has started out a little better. The outpouring of moral support on the work front has been very humbling. I have more allies than I realized. I'm just going to step back, take a deep breath, pour a cup of coffee, and focus on one day at a time. To be completely cliche: there is a light at the end of the tunnel. I just hope it has a dimmer switch so I can take a nap when I get there.

As newb whining goes, it's a slightly better than average effort. I like the seasonal touch of the eerie in "the mods will get me" - I get this image of newbies stalked by undead or spectral moderators, hiding in hopefully obscure corners of the site, hoping to survive long enough to get their rep out of the red.
