Text to Speech - long delay in Speech.Synthesis.SpeakCompletedEventArg

The SpeakCompleted event take up to 20sec after the Prompt is completed. Any ideas on how to change this so the event fires within a second or two after Text to Speech string is completed.

What's your code look like? Is there something in there causing a delay?
