Could you explain a little more what exactly you want to do. It will help a lot if you put your code here so we can see what you are doing.

You can always attach content to link by adding "?" folloed by your content.
You can also use javascript to capture content you want and send it to your php file when user clicks on the link.

But again as I don't know what exactly you want to do and don't have your code can't say more than this.

Thanks for you reply.I do not have any code yet.
I have software which triggers email when something is submitted. I have added my php link to it.
Now that email has some content which
I need to transfer on to my php page.

Let me know again if this is unclear.
Thanks so much

Let me see if I have got you right, sorry if I repeat what you have already said.

Let's assume I am submiiting something to your page. Upon this submission your software will trigger email and will send me an email with a link somewhere in the content.
Now you want to get some content back when I click on the link. If this is the situation you can't read anything from the content using PHP. We need a different mechanism to get the content and send it to PHP.
Now is the content you want to read static or dynamic. If it is static you can always attach it to the link and it will be send to your php file when user clicks on it. Something like:
<a href="www.somewhere.com?content=whatever%20you%20want%20to%20send>www.somewhere.com</a>

But if your content is dynamic and will change everytime again it depends if it will change in your server or it will change depending on the user.

Don't know if this helps at all.
