Visual Basic RPG Game Engine

Posted 23 February 2012 - 01:52 PM

I have just finished my game engine made in Visual Basic. Its like a 2D adventure type of thing. You need to create a map and characters.

Features:
Working FPS Counter
X & Y coords
Position to the map
Highlighted map position
Customizable colors

Ouch.. those variable and form names are painfully unhelpful! ;)

What can I do to fix it?
MapX and Y are their positions relative to the map +20 to help with mapping, x and Y are for the user to see.
I don't see anything wrong with the form names :S

You don't see anything wrong with "form1" and "form2"? Clearly there must be *SOME* pertinent information to ID them from that!

Let alone variables called "g" or "bb" - that doesn't tell me what they are or their purpose...

g is for graphics
bb is for back buffer
