Just introducing myself really. I am an Electronics engineer and just beggining to learn C++, finding it really interesting and looking forward to the long road ahead.
My job as a pure electronics engineer is evolving and my employer has asked if I can learn C++ in order to help develop software, daunting but I am really up for the challenge and have other software guys in the company to ask for help when I get stuck.
I have decided to take my time and not rush in by copy and pasting code without really understanding every character!
My final goal is to be able to produce stand alone .exe programs not requiring .net framework, the programs will be data acquisition loggers interogating a serial port.
I have registered to give me the strength needed in the "low times" when its just not sinking in and I may call upon the vast knowledge which is evident on this forum.
After using the search button ofcourse!
