jTable Column Dragging?

Posted 02 March 2012 - 12:53 AM

If I have two jTables table1 and table2 I want that when I drag certain column from table1, the same column gets dragged in table2. This can be done somehow?

Do you mean dragging a column from one table and putting it into table 2 by dropping it? If so, according to this, it appears JTable doesn't support dropping with TransferHandler, so you are going to have to write your own code to handle the drag and drop feature.

No, sorry I didnt explain myself, the two tables share common columns (table1 has SUM column and table2 has the same column but with other data) what I want is that when I drag a that column in table1 it drags to the same place in table2.

Sorry but your second explanation is even more obscure than the first one.

So you want that if a column is displaced in table1 the equivalent column is displaced in table2 ?
After the drag is completed (that is easy) or you want the drag operation to visually appear to the user in both tables (that would be a challenging problem) ?
