It is indeed possible - the levels are based (for good or evil) on the number of posts that a user accrues. I think the next changes for you will be at the 100, 500, and 800 post count levels. NOTE: This is not an invitation for numerous meaningless posts.

No just the posts.
I can't remember what the number of posts is but eventually you can create your own title too.

No, I changed mine a long time ago. In fact, it was so long ago that I was still on dial-up at the time.

You will not pay any attention to your post count as you stay here on DIC. I stopped looking at my count when I hit around 60 posts. Now, Dream Kudos is where it's at. Uploading snippets and tutorials will get you 25 kudos a pop for each useful one you upload. This contributes to DIC and gets you... well... kudos. At 500 you get a free DIC++ subscription. Also, kudos represents part of you actually doing something useful here.

Yes, you get Kudos when adding a resource, to see what is given for what, take a look at the About Us page - http://www.dreaminco...t/home/?p=about
A lot of members here at DIC have a lot of Kudos and little posts, and some are the other way around. There are many ways to contribute to the community, and either way will get you rewards of some sort.
Last time I checked it was 500 posts before your able to get a custom title? I don't think that was changed. 500 Posts will also get you a free DIC T-Shirt.
The rewards, titles and such are really all about recognition of your contributions to the community.

The current resources system actually doesn't link to kudos, and will be going away soon. I'll be replacing resources with Training.
For now, it's tutorials and code snippets.
