The Gamecube...it's available

my god what can you say, its nintendo, it will surely rule. zelda & mario are for sure going to make this a huge system, and i am looking forward to this sweet sweet candies of a game machine, what i want to know is what does everyone else think? how many  people have even heard of it, the casual game probably thinks nintendo is dead. let me know your thought. mmmm... metroid... *begins to drool*

This was pulled from another thread...cause I just gotta boast here.
Graphically, the system is astounding.  So far I've played: Luigi's Mansion: fun and VERY inventive for a Mario game.
Waverace: Bluestorm: it's waverace...only like 8 tracks or so...rather dissappointing...but it's waverace, if you like the first one, you'll like this one, GREAT graphical environment effects.
Super Monkey Ball: Weird name...GREAT GAME.  Very fun and very inventive, the physics are realistic.  I HIGHLY suggest looking for pictures or videos.  This game is a great party game.
The gamecube controller is comfortable, except for the Z button, I don't like how it's in front of the R button now.  That overly humongous A button doesn't seem to effect you really...I'm used to it already.
Let's see...the discs are smaller than normal, same with the memory cards, load time is pain-free...it loads once at the start of the game, and it's done.
The discs hold 1.5 gigs, the memory cards...actually, I never found out how much they hold, I'll have to get back to you all on that.
Overall, top notch system.
(Off note: I was watching someone thrash through Silent Hill 2 yesterday, EXCELLENT GAME.)

BTW...a capital Y doesn't beat it, because a new sentence isn't started after ...
It's a  continuation.

Yeah and I've played it, and played it, and played it, it doesn't matter if you get it before me, cause I've played all 3 launch titles thus far...that's a 2 month jump on you...I'm going to get to play SSB Melee before you too.

what should matter, is what games you are looking forward too, and impressions from what you seen, or what youve played, not a contest bout who got their hands on the controller first.
