I absolutely must edit a post I made a few hours ago, and I cant find the edit button. As far as I can tell you can only edit a post within a certain time frame. I really cant imagine a scenario where this is actually a necessary or a desirable feature. There is information in a recent post that must be removed. Let me edit my threads, and more importantly, allow me to take the information out of the thread without requiring me to advertise the thread here.

We removed the ability for users to edit their own posts, as students would receive help & then go back & edit their posts, removing all of the code. This is against the purpose of Dream In Code. We provide questions & answers to those whom search the forums.

If you need personal information removed from your posts, please shoot me a pm with the post & I will do so.

In short, don't be mad at us. Be mad at the selfish bastards that ruin it for everyone else.
