Although I'm not sure if this is the right site to get the answers to the question I need I'm hoping that somebody on the site will know where I can get the answers. Is there software out there to allow me to split tomtom maps up into seperate regions so I can fit the truck map on a smaller memory unit. Because the older tomtoms are based on the windows operating system is there software out there to allow me to alter parts of the program i.e navcore and such to help with compatability issues. Thanks in advance I hope these questions aren't to random.

Microsoft has dropped support for Windows CE, so don't count on too much help from them. CE is quite a secure system, so hacking is rather difficult. Idea; instead of using TomTom maps, why don't you simply load maps from another source onto a mobile unit (tablet, phone...) and use those? Open Street maps are open source, so you can use those for free.
