If this is going to be a thread about obscure games, I'd like to throw out a few of my favorite games that very few people have heard of or played:

Drakkhen

EVO: Search for Eden

Bahamut Lagoon

Those are actually pretty well known among people who played in the SNES era. Even the guy down at the water store was playing EVO in an emulator while waiting for customers.

That's surprising because every gamer from the early 90s that I know has never heard of these games. Except one guy I know knew about Bahamut Lagoon but never played it because there was no official release in America.

7up was the only game worth playing back in elementary school.

There was a peculiar little shareware program for the mac years ago called hendrix. Basically, it was a blank screen, and it made hendrix-like guitar sounds depending on where you clicked. If I remember right, the X axis controlled sustain and the y axis controlled pitch, but this was a long time ago. Like, on the Mac Plus kind of a long time ago.

It was pretty cool, actually.

I always enjoyed scooter soccer. Those little scooters were kick ass.

Except when you ran over your fingers for the twentieth time. We didn't play soccer but a version of floor hockey. Those shorten sticks were excellent weapons.

Of course - dbag kids now a days have HANDLES on them... oh... is the harsh penalty of your texting fingers being damaged too much for you?

I don't know, personally powered vehicles and me don't mix. I somehow even managed to fall off a tricycle and open my right knee.

I somehow managed to escape gym class in the 11th grade. This was discovered my senior year and I was placed into two gym classes to make up the physical activity credits as they were a graduation requirement.

One class was with my own classmates. No biggie.
The other was with my younger brother's 9th grade class.

He and I were both chosen as team captains for floor hockey. We chose our teams and faced off in the center of the gym. We both said fuck the puck and attacked each other with hockey sticks. Good times.

"Fuck the Puck" was not one of the games we played in PE. Wish it had been, though.

Nice.. yes, I as well had to take my last semester of PE my senior year - though that was due to my broken arm the year before. Our group had four stoners, two people who thought their 4.7 gpas would allow them some leverage to not take gym, and a few of us, who through injury or mishap, didn't take it their junior year. The rest of the class was freshman and sophomore football kids attempting to impress coach to be pulled up to varsity football. Essentially a pack of slobbering golden retriever puppies all worked up and looking to impress but got too excited to see so they piddled a bit. Coach was kind and just made us seniors take a few laps and "get out of here". That was until my last day where I got an ear full for not being on the team and letting him sort of think I might have.
