I am getting a video card error that causes my processor to idle at 99% and is slowing my computer to a crawl. Actually, almost to a hault. NTKernal in the task manager when I look at all users. This happened before almost a year ago and I had to reformat the laptop and transfer everything over. I do not have the error code in front of me at the moment but I have a couple questions/statements.
I tried uninstalling the drivers, updating drivers, reinstalling drivers, restore point, etc and nothing has worked on it. Does anyone have any suggestions or are familiar with this?
Also, since it is incredibily slow, it takes forever to copy a folder to an external hard drive. I also have a bunch of files that need to be transferred. Is there a best way or a quicker way then Ctrl + Drag into a new folder on the external hard drive? Maybe a utility to make the process go a little quicker?
Thanks in advance,
Travis
