Hello everyone.
I've taught myself .NET (as it's what I've come to do at work) and I have completed(ish) a project that I would like to put out there onto the internet. Only I have never dealt with hosting solutions when it comes to the .NET framework (only Linux, PHP, MySQL). What can I expect? I'm expecting certain niggles when I port it online, but what should I be looking for in a good provider?
I'm talking about stuff like:-
Is it common to have access to the SQL Server Agent to run jobs and alerts?
Can you manipulate most IIS settings?
Is there anything I won't have control of, that I might not realise?
I know there are lots of companies offering this, anyone have any preferences and why?
Thanks in advance.
Jase
