Is it wrong or perverse to have happy and joyfully feelingsthat envelope you, when you rediscover something you've unable to find since like forever. Then whoo-ho!
Cos I have them.
Found two USB Sticks, I lost a couple of years ago at least.
That sense of longing curiosity to find of what treasures or more likely perversity they contain.
The Joy of Rediscovery.

I started playing Pokemon again; I realized that I played WAY to much of the game as a kid when I would remember all the obscure places that obscure items were hidden. I started playing the 3 gen about a day ago; apparently I didn't play this one as much(last generation I played) becuase I don't even remember the story line. luckily however, that's making it significantly more fun.
I've also been playing the special editions(yellow, crystal, emerald) sense I didn't play those when I was younger.
I'm not sure if I can get the newer generations(which I've never played) as they are on DS.

Hahah yes, this is so recognizable for me
Though, I still had to replace the battery in the game cartridge, did you have the same problem?

I think I've probably played all of the Pokemon games enough times to thoroughly ruin that for me.
This said, when they announced "Black 2 and White 2", I thought about killing myself. Childhood has been ruined by the very thing that made it awesome.
That said, I recently discovered 4 year old cold relating to a Web Browser project (Quasar, if anyone on here remembers it, but the first ever version stuffs) so figured I might reboot it in CSharp (no sharp key on this keyboard, stupid students) as it was in VB.NET which is pretty awful for me now. I, quite ironically, can't use it. Always putting semi-colons...

All of the stories are the same, though...
Get pokemon, defeat gym guys, defeat elite (insert number here), you win (collection of the legendary pokemon optional, ofc). (Throw in team rocket or some other stupid named bad guys and you have the easily defeated baddies.)

Ya, but when I first got Pokemon red and blue and my game-boy for my fifth birthday I thought it was the single most amazing thing ever. I had never had the chance to play a video game at any length before that.
Not only that but the math, various roots of pokemon names, and free world RPG game play firmly secured me in my nerdom. I division, percentages, and basic logic from that game; leap frog doesn't have shit on Pokemon.
It's apart of me, not a huge part, but definitely a part
