dell powervault 745n, windows cant detect ahrd drive

Hello i recived a dell powervault 745n and went to install windows but windows server 2003, but the isntaller said it would not detect hard drives.
The post detects the hard drives and there is not raid configuration utility.
dells download link for their utility is broken.
any ideas

Are the drives IDE or SATA?

Is there an option to disable AHCI mode in BIOS?

Sounds like windows server 2003 doesn't contain a native driver for the hard disk controller (common enough with newer hardware and older software).
Go with server 2008 if possible or use the F6 to specify a third party driver during startup (when dell drivers site is functioning correctly again).
