I have noticed a trend with the tv industry where TV shows get cancelled just as they start to attract a wide audience.
Here are some of the ones I am talking about.
Eureka
Stargate Atlantis
Stargate Universe
FireFly
Babalon 5
I can keep on going on.
Do you have a perticular show you loved and was just cancelled out of the blue?

Side note - B5 was always intended to be about a five season show. Now with the spin offs drying up that's a different story. Unlike something akin to Sliders where it just went.. and went.. and went.. and went.

Also, here are some that got canceled and I wish they would bring back.
Space: Above and Beyond (1995)
Quantum Leap - I think this show could of ended better.
I wish someone would put a new star trek series together. (we can always hope).
I know its a cartoon, but "Undergrads" on MTV was a 1 season-er that had a huge fan base (me included)
Also, here are some that got canceled and I wish they would bring back.

the ending to quantum leap was horrible at best. I mean it just ended with him continuing his journey and it said he had a choice all along. That was a lame ending.

Threshold - Ok, not grand, but good. Also has Peter Dinklage in it; the guy who totally steals the show in Game of Thrones.

Camelot, it was pretty good but it was canceled becuase the actors in it had actual movies to make 
but firefly is the real issue here... did anyone see the movie that ended it all? lame sauce ending.
