There is no limitation.

I believe that there is a limit but it will be linked to a registry entry and it sets the max number of handles and it defaults. to 10000

You can test this with a loop that adds controls to a panel. It is also not just for a panel, but for the total number of handles open in your application, so if you have a form with 500 handles and you open 20 of those forms, you will exceed the limit.

That number in the registry can be set higher or lower but again the default is 10000
