I just got my Adobe Web Communications Associate Certification, and now I'm wondering what to do with it?

How will I reference it in resumes? Do I mention it in my Portfolio? Can I use it to get a raise at my current job?


I know people don't look at them like degrees or whatever, but I just want to know what I can do with it.

Wait - you didn't have a plan to utilize it when you went for it? Was it just some sort of 'continuing education', or 'just a good idea at the time'?

Well it was considered my final exam for my class, and I got a 934/1000 on it. I didn't really know what to do with it beyond saying "I have this".

Ah.. well you can get more certs in that area to be an 'expert'.. but yeah it defiantly goes on a resume.

Make sure to list it as "Web CAC" so it gets brought up in discussion at interviews and arrest bookings.

In addition to the good advice already provided that "yeah, duh, you list it on your resume"...

Frame it. Put in on the wall. Then go backing to saying "Did you want fries with that order?"

I'm doing some Udacity courses at the moment, I've finished one and taken on a couple more. I wasn't planning on including them on my resume, but maybe it would be worth mentioning them? I feel that the knowledge gained is not trivial, but at the same time, it's not a "real university' etc.
