Has anyone had interaction with Geekatoo?

Posted 30 April 2012 - 12:29 PM

I was reading this article over at 'coding horror' regarding the Atwood trying to find someone (reliable in an area he doesn't have any personal contacts with ) to fix his mom's computer problems without resorting to the BestBuy extortion. It seems like a pretty solid service for anyone looking to do freelance hardware... Is anyone familiar with the service? Is it hard to break in and make some cash? Is there any particular pitfalls I should be aware of? I figure if I am not busy enough why not do tech support in the evening after a day of programming!
