Viewport Up scaling issues

Posted 03 May 2012 - 11:41 AM

I have been having some "drawing" issues with XNA recently. I have a desktop set to 1280 by 1024 resolution and set my backbuffer, viewport, and client window resolution to 1280 by 1024 but the viewport still scales up to 1920 by 1024 and only displays 1280 in a side window. I have been looking around in my nvidia settings but I haven't found anything yet.

Have you guys had this issue yet?

That's odd. Are you sure that you've set the PreferredBackBufferWidth and PreferredBackBufferHeight to 1280 and 1024 respectively and not 1920 and 1080?

Yeah, to avoid that i have a int set for the width and height then set it all up by pulling that int in.
