Scarlett Johansson's boobs looked pretty good in 3D. That's all you missed. My friends had to stop me from repeated attempts to reach out and grab them.

Yeah, that's what the people I asked told me. Would it in any way affect the 3D or something?
I miss my 20/20 vision. Sheesh.

As someone who used to wear glasses but now has 20/20 vision (thanks to lasik) I can say that using the 3D glasses over your glasses produces about the same results as someone without glasses using the 3D glasses.

On topic I took my 13 yr old daughter to the Avengers this weekend, we both loved it.

With Lasik I can gain superpowers too? Hawk eye. Avengers. Get it? Nah. Hahaha. But seriously, would it cure my eyes?

Oddly... I had cataract surgery and my right eye lens was replaced with one of these. I now see UV out of that eye, like this guy. On crappy rainy days it's much brighter in the right eye, and violet colored. Some flora and fauna appear a little differently colored. I can also read by black light. It's certainly amusing, if nothing else.

Getting the lens replaced in your eye is permanent solution and consider superior to lasik. People actually have this surgery who don't have cataracts for this reason. Another bonus is color. The lens in your eye yellows over time. It's slow; you don't really notice it. But, trust me, the sky was bluer when you were younger. The whites are whiter.

So your eye is now better or what? So, um, how much did it cost? Hahaha.

Anything to help my eyes get their sight back! Only problem though is the reason I don't put on my glasses is I don't like seeing people in HD. Scary. I know they feel the same way when I see them so the feeling is mutual at least.

Yep. Frighteningly clear, in fact. Unfortunately, the old eye is the dominant one and they don't agree entirely. Seems to be a different focal length. They say when the other one is eventually replaced vision will be perfect.

Cataract surgery is covered by insurance, but the "premium" lens is not. It was about $5k out of pocket.

Well, if bringing good eyesight back can be done, then I guess the price is reasonable. I mean it's wonderful not to have to squint all the time or have someone think you're a snob just because you hadn't noticed them even if they're just at arms length when you're walking somewhere.

Back to movies!

Is the new movie Dark Shadows good? Anyone?

Yeahhhh man PROMETHEUS and THE DARK KNIGHT RISES, I think are going to be the highlights.

I could be completely wrong about this but I heard somewhere that prometheus as actually supposed to be a prequel to the first 'Alien" movie. Cant say for sure though, anyone heard anything similar or know anything about it?

Haven't seen Dark Shadows, but according to Ridley Scott, Prometheus shares "strands of Alien's DNA".. It was supposed to be an actual prequel, but as it kept getting delayed, the script kept getting changed.. Now its both, is and isn't a prequel.

BTW what's up with the font in the top half?

Avengers was... Really good. I think that surprised everyone. (I didn't expect it to be bad, but I never expected to be that good)

It was so entertaining that I think I peed someone elses pants.
