I am currently studying for my System Development exam and from a past sample paper it has the following question:
CGI programs are not used for:
(A) Search Engines
(B) Applets
© shopping Baskets
(D) Visitor counters
I have tried looking through notes but can not find the answer. Anyone have any ideas?

All but one of those options describe a function of a website, often written in languages like PHP, APS.NET or (in the past) CGI. - I suggest you look up more details about each choice, and try and figure out which programming languages can be used to create them. One of them should stand out.
P.S.
I've moved this to the Student Campus. This doesn't belong to the Java forum.
