hide file names

hi guys..hope im in the right forum, i hope ye can help

when i visit my website i dont want anyone to be able to see the file names in the url...mysite/index.php, mysite/about.php....ect

i know theres an easy way around this but i dont know:(

If you're using apache, I believe you can use mod_rewrite for this task.

Did you look into mod_rewrite? This is how wordpress achieves this.
