Well i got my computer fixed (sort of) I re-installed windows then i had to use the on-board graphics card. So i guess that my main graphics card is toast looks like i will have to get a new one. Below is the spec of my motherboard any ideas on a good(but not to pricey £50 - £100) graphics card that will work with this motherboard.

What sort of extra power connectors do you have available in that box?
It looks like your old card was a "ATI Radeon x1650se", right?

Yeah it was ATI Radeon x1650se as for the power cords there is couple of 4 Pin Molex connectors. I am not very up on my hardware if there is a type of wire/connection you are thinking of if you tell me what it is then i could look up a picture of it then check my box to see if i have it

Depending on the card, but most of the newer, awesome'r , cards have a power requirement. Depending on the card.. a six pin.. eight pin.. both.. etc..

Then that will limit what you can put in there.. Do you have at least two extra of those 4pin white molex connectors laying around so you can get that adapter on the bottom right picture?

Then, in theory, you can use them with that y connector (image above) to get a better card that requires more power.. or you can stay with the cards that do not need that extra power source.. but those cards are less powerful than the others.
Just be wary of that difference when you are looking at cards!
