Hello,

I'd like to develop a website. It would contain a lot of data (90% text, 10% graphics) which can be accessed anytime by multiple users. One data item would belong to several areas so this database should let me easily maintain those complex connections. Because of that i think that mysql won't do it. So I need to learn Oracle stuff. I'm quite familiar to:

- java
- javascript
- CSS2&3
- c,c++,c#
- PHP

So here's a question: what language set would be proper for this case?
Ruby + Javascript (jQuery) + PL/SQL?
or
Python + Javascript (jQuery) + PL/SQL?

whatever you’re familiar with, you like and is supported by your host.



PS. isn’t PL/SQL also supported in PostgreSQL?

It's similar, but not exactly the same. And it's likely newer versions of MySQL can handle what you throw at it.
