Semi-funny and almost relevant story from back in my wild and wooly days:
I was out and about, living it up, drinking too much, partying hard with some of my cousins.
Our DD was born with some learning disabilities - he's a very smart man, just a shitty reader. Anyway, he was used to being in bed by 7pm (because he gets up at 3am for work), so he was freaking exhausted by 2am when he was pulled over for drunk driving with a carload of drunken insanity along for the ride.
The officer ran him through a series of tests, determined to prove the guy was drunk. Then he asked him to recite the alphabet backwards to which he replied, "Are you kidding me? I can barely recite it FORWARDS!"
His sister, a whole new level of trashed at the time, opened her window and pulled herself out of the car - face first into the dirt - all the while screaming, "I can say it backwards! Let me say it backwards, officer! I can do it! My brother's a retard! You need to interview the smart one!" As she pulled herself up and stumbled toward them.
Then she leaned forward and puked on his foot... and asked if he was married or interested in "hot bitches with big tit-tays".
All the while, the other three of us were in the backseat, howling like banshees because apparently when you're 23 and drunk, puking on a cop is the comedic highlight of your evening.
The cop looked at his foot, looked at our DD, and told him to stop for coffee and get his load of drunks home, and got in his squad car and drove away.... leaving the exhausted driver to load his sister back into the passenger seat while she continued to say her alphabet backwards declaring, "See? I can do it! Why didn't he test me? I could've passed it for you, buddy. I got your back!"
Good times.

Fucking brilliant.
I seldom feel very sorry for cops, but I gotta say I was feeling his pain there.

I have synaesthesia. That is, If I listen to music I see it in terms of shapes.
But weirder even than this, I have it in a "virtual" form as well. That is, if I recall music that I have heard without it playing at the time, I get the music in shapes like circles and spheres as well.
Guess that I'm just plain weird lol.

Let me see... Can you make sense of these different shapes you see to compose amazing music which can control the emotions of the people around you ? If not, no.

The best music for getting me to make music into shapes is "Clocks" by Coldplay.

There are different types of synethesia.
Some people turn music to shapes or colors.
Some people turn words or numbers into sound or color.
There are supposedly over 60 different kinds.
Scientists believe that 1 in 23 people could have at least one variant.
I also have chromesthesia, which is sound->color synethesia. I often forget that I have it until someone brings it up.
It's not nearly as vivid as watching Winamp's Milkdrop plugin, but its pretty cool to "see" music.

Try making a sketch of any music you like, and show us what it looks like. Sounds cool.
