Problem with Wordpress

Posted 19 May 2007 - 05:17 AM

I am a Wordpress User...
http://agpweb.wordpress.com
The problem with Wordpress is that it starts to remove all the javascript code in the posts. Whenever I try to post the Adsense Code on the About Me page it just screens it out.

As a result I am not able to post any ads on my blog.

However this is not the case with Wordpress installed on your site, where you can paste JS code.

Please Help.

Somewhere I did read about uploading some JS file and then making calls to it.
But I couldn't understand..

Any one of you have experienced the same problem...

Hoping for a fast reply...

If placing javascript is not possible can anyone suggest any Ad program where only an Image link has to be placed...

Wordpress doesn't like javascript posted within the post content, you should still be able to run it on the pages but it cant be within your post. I would just edit your page.php file and put the ad in where you want around the content.

If you want to have ads on your WordPress blog, you have to self-host or pay WordPress a lot of money. They don't allow you to have scripted ads, like Adsense, or even affliate links in your text (even redirected links are iffy). If you're caught doing this they'll remove your blog and ban you.

they strip of all the javascript in your posts..
Unless you host it,you can't run ads on WP..
However Blogger being from the Google family allows Adsense...
