MVC4 Mobile Default Button and Background

Posted 08 June 2012 - 08:27 AM

I am trying my first MVC project. It is for a mobile web app that will only be used by mobile devices.
I am trying to modify the project that comes with it when you create a new project.
Can someone help me figure out how to change the buttons and background?
The buttons are "Mobile-Ready" meaning they are the length of the screen and I can't seem to change that. I need to have 2 buttons that are side by side and a different color.
The background doesn't seem to change no matter what I do. I was looking in the various jquery CSS that are in it and I can't get anything to change the color.

Thank you in advance!

Are you using full blown jQuery, or jQuery mobile? It would be helpful to see some code too.
