I have it referenced in the project, but it's not populating in the bin. I'm not entirely sure what's wrong, because in a similar project I did a while back, the MySQL.Data.dll is in the bin.
Do I need to manually place the MySQL.Data.dll file? If so, where would I find this? Or am I missing something? It's entirely possible the guy who helped build said similar project did some code wizardry on the code before passing it over to me; he was my mentor, but I was stumbling around in the dark more often than not.

Check the properties of the reference. Click on the reference, and open the Properties window. You should see a Copy Local. Make sure that is true.
