I found that the whole printed page thing rapidly went a way as I needed to carry more documentation with me for on-site development and installations. It is truly nice to go for a week and not have to have any checked luggage because you have clothes, laptop and iPad of 200-2,000 documents all in your carry on.
Paperless was a goal 20 years ago. Today it is my lifestyle. No paper means no binders, no shelving for binders, no printer, no ink cost, no paper cost, no space for those consumables... As you start taking away a couple things you then take away the things that only existed for the things you took away. Simplification of one's life, environment and lifestyle.

Honestly, once I've made the point, I don't mind what someone reads on as long as they're reading. I know what works best for me, and from what I've studied, I'm pretty convinced that e-books are a hindrance, but if you get along with them that probably just means you're smarter than me.
Me, I use the real thing, because I need all the help I can get.

I agree that its all relative to the user.
Some people work best on paper. Some on eBooks. Some on Windows. Some on Macs. Some in a VW Beele. Me, I'm a Dodge RAM guy.
Like you said, what's important is that the person finds what works for them.
I'm not trying to convince anyone to change their ways. Just saying what works/ed for me.

It won't surprise you that all of my translations begin as hand-written drafts.

Aww, this was just for sport. No blood in it.
I swear, recreational argument is dying out these days.

I'm stumped every day. Usually if I put many hours into a task and I am still stumped I will move on to another task for a while. Usually you need to get away from the problem and come back to it later.
