Flash ActionScript 2.0 Platform Game

Posted 15 June 2012 - 06:40 AM

Hi, Basically I have created a little platform game to keep myself entertained, I have made a health bar and a moving character all I need now is a score counter, so when my character passes through the coins its goes to the score counter, I have attempted to put a score counter in my VCAM but the problem im getting with it it that it only shows three numbers 0,1 and 2... it does not show 3,4,5,6,7,8,9, (so it does show 10,11,12) and I was wondering if anyone could help me, I'm driving myself insane trying to fix it

Coins Coding:

onClipEvent (enterFrame) {
if (_root.char.hitTest(this)) {
_root.score+=1;
unloadMovie(this);
}
}

Text:
Text Type = Dynamic Text
Variably = _root.score

All text that changes dynamically must have the font embedded to correctly display all of the characters.

When you select the font of your textField you must then click embed to create a new embedded font that will be used.
