So I've tried various languages... Java, QBasic, C++, C#, and Python. I have read at least 20 guides (not exaggerating...) but they are all confusing or don't match up to the language. I am sick of not being able to do any thing - I just want to make [b]something that works and shows actual results[b].
Thanks in advance.

Well.. pick up a book on a major language and go. Java, VB.NET, or C#.NET.

Crashes when I try to debug it... I posted this (links to pastebin) on Microsoft's forum (just saw I have a reply) but I have not had much luck. I even tried Virtual box to see if I could get it to see if I could get it to work but I got the same results.

Sorry to be dense but I have no idea why any of the code means... just reading tutorials and getting a lot of errors back. C++ has been uninstalled a while ago and C# just finished its install. Do you think I am better off learning C# or C++?

Then you need to start off and get a book and work through it..
C# will get you an easy access to the GUI side.. but both are similar syntax.

@modi123_1 Clearly I am going to have to tackle this in a different way then I have been (in other words find an actual book...). I probably will be back for more help (hopefully once I get more experienced).
However I have to say from a beginners perspective (more or less any way) with all the information already out it is very confusing. But I can't use that as an excuse not to learn. Any way thanks
