Hey guys,
This is another work project of mine. It's past the point that I can change the design due to timelines. But I am open to feedback on it for future projects.
I have just finished development on the english portion of this website and would love some people to have a look and lety me know what they think, or if there is any mistakes or cross compatibility issues perhaps.
URL : http://creativecurvedev1.ca/ (Just a live development domain) Real domain is cardp.ca
Cheers,
Icedd

This site makes me want to be sick...
How long have you been doing websites professionally?

Hrm the css broke, I just did the upload. Fixing that now.
Since December. I don't do the designs, just development.
I'm completly fine with negative comments/ criticism. Just please explain yourself so I can learn for the future. Don't just be an a## for the sake of it. Some people may take it hard
Have a good day

mccabec123, dude, what use is that? Could you maybe say something about what you don't like, so the guy knows what to change?
icedd - The dude's right, it's not great. Some points
- I'd prefer not to have graphics moving around. It's distracting from your actual content. If your client has lots of images they want to present, try rotating through a library on each load of that page, so the page looks different each time you come to it. If you must flip the images while the page is sitting, make it more subtle. Use dissolves and make the images flow more into each other - those transitions are too jarring, especially since you're just flipping between mirror-reversals of the same thing.
- the images look sort of oddly washed out, not very appealing
- running the English and French names of the organization against each other that way creates some confusion about what that text actually means, and as a result
- the spacing of "et de prosthodontie" is really weird.
There's more, but those are the ones that struck me the most.

Yes.. not a fan.
The washout colors are not amazing.
The red as a 'navigation location indicator' is annoying to read..
The navigation font is too.. I don't know.. thin?
The gray bit at the bottom (cardp register, cardp journal, etc) are missing the top bevel... like how the red menu meets the blue navigation bit.
I have no idea why "The Canadian Academy of Restorative Dentistry and Prosthodontics l'Academie canadienne de dentistrie restauratrice et de prosthodontie" looks all jacked up.. font wise, spacing, location, etc..
I also assume you are not going to use the watermarked 'istockphoto's, right?
I get the design you are you going for, but I think you could tighten up the graphics, reduce some of that misappropriated white space, and be better.
