Connecting ms access to vb2010

hello everyone:)
i am dan angelo, graduate as an associate in computer programming(a 2-year course). i am not new to visual basic 2010 but am not good also at it.
i am planning to create an enrollment system, just to practice,where you can add a student number, student name etc.
to do this i need to connect visual basic 2010 to microsoft acess 2010, so i can save all the data. could anyone help me about this? any tips would be highly appreciated. thanks!
