Hi , i got a question.
i have a programm which was written in shellskript and c.and i which to design a GUI for this programm
1. the programm is a simulation programm, design to calculate the polarisation of some structure(simple cubic, amorphous, Cscl structures ) depending on the inputs given by the user, say number of atoms, the lattice constant,...(these parameters have to be given on the GUI by the user) which on input by the user will be overwrittenin the respective files.

i tried to design the interface in java, but i think it might look a little bit complicated, i wanted to ask if someone has a better recommendation or so.

i am open for any contribution and ideas.

This seems to be a very visually intensive program, so I would sugesst running the UI in Open GL or the like.
