Getting Kudos/Respect in DIC

Posted 25 June 2012 - 10:11 AM

How, exactly, does one get respect point things in DIC? I have help multiple people with their problems, but I cannot seem to get any point things. Please give me some advice in this matter.

First off - let's move this out of the lounge.

Now - have you read the FAQ at the bottom of the page explaining the difference between rep and kudos? Good. Then you should know that kudos are given out for tutorials and snippets you submit... and that get approved. Reputation is a pure voluntary system that all members (well mostly all.. there are those who are locked out for various reasons) can chose to do.

from your sig:

I would really like some reputation, as I currently do not have any, even as I have helped multiple people resolve problems.

As a side note - edit your signature - begging for rep is just silly.

As it is.. it's just a number. Some people give/get it in the lounge.. some for answering questions.. some for just being supportive. I wouldn't get your boxers in a twist over it.
