Wait - you want to make a separate executable just for form2?

I am trying to figure a way where that might be useful and I am coming up short.

Either way - no. You would need to alter the project settings (which the distributed exe won't have) and then manage to recompile things (maybe command line) afterwards... At best create second project with just form2 and compile it before hand.

First: As Modi described, you would need to design this with two different projects in your solution.

Second: Unless your project actually is a compiler, pressing a button on a form isn't going to generate an exe.

You obviously have little comprehension/experience with actually building solutions. I recommend you pick up a book such as "Learn C# in 30 days" and just work on learning. Work the book from cover to cover before you try to design an application.

Translation: Thanks, but I was hoping to get an example.

He wants us to write the code for him, as an 'example'.
