Audio processing using JavaScript

I've been trying to make a music visualizer in javascript. I've found two PHP scripts that do make the waveform of the audio file. can anyone, tell me how should I proceed now? What all processing need to be done again. Also, is it possible to play audio just with the level values used to draw the waveform?
