Looking for Criticism On My Splash Screen

This is a possible splash screen for all my upcoming games. Just wanted some criticism or new ideas. Thanks guys.

I am not a fan. It looks like a botched Calvin Klein ad. This is of course excluding that spray painted jelly bean thing that is miss-centered, misshapen, and should be dropped.

If you want a splash screen for your ah.. gaming studio.. then perhaps eye ball what people previously were doing. That graphic they pick isn't all willy nilly - that's their company logo. I suggest dumping the jelly bean and creating a logo. Then again - maybe the jelly bean is your company logo.. I don't rightly know.

Not trying to do this all willy nilly, that's why I am posting on here. Who knows why I tried to make a rainbow controller. Obviously didn't work. I am just not sure which direction I should go with this logo. And I said the same thing about the Calvin Klein thing :P

Really liked the first link you put up. Moon is kind of elegant. Not to obtrusive. Grr. I need an artist.

Well either get one or sit down and doodle out a logo... then make it. Use inkscape or something vector based.

Yessir. And I am using Inkscape. Sadly still the best I can do lol. I will take a look through those tuts. Thanks
