Posted 04 July 2012 - 04:52 AM

can anyone help me in providing a way to zoom an image with a zoom in and zoom out button.
I tried using webViews but i want the zooming to be done in any other way.
I also checked the code for zooming touching the screen but it didnt help out me in zooming the image using a button.
Any help would be more appreciatable.

Your link is to a google search that had numerous tutorials on how to do this.

I don't see how the volunteers here are supposed to help you differently than the other 50 tutorials you provided that you admit to not understanding. There's only so many ways to explain the same information.

Saying "I don't understand any of them" might be an indicator that you aren't ready to take on this project yet.

Don't worry about 'this project'. Directing your eduction towards a single project always results in swiss cheese education (lots of big holes).

You have to asks yourself "what is it that I didn't understand about *all* the tutorials that I looked at? What did they have in common that I failed to understand?"

Maybe classes and their use is new to you. Understanding them fully is vital to object oriented programming.
Maybe its events and architecting a program to be event driven. Another vital concept to understand.

For all I/we know this is your third project and everything is new to you: The coding language, the IDE, basic concepts, breaking down a program into modules. Maybe pick up a book or 5 on programming in your chosen language and just working them cover to cover to LEARN before DESIGN.
