Oracle 11g Installation

Hello,
I downloaded Oracle 11g_Home for WinXpSp3 (X86) and installation created an installation folder in C:\Inventory and another one in D:\oracle\product ... I dunno why !

then i downloaded Oracle 11 client for .net framework 4 and it created another folder in D:\app ...

now every time i try to develop with Vb.net 2010 i have to manually choose reference from my hard drive .... is it normal ?

Yes.. a basic starting out solution VS creates has the bare minimum to get it running. It doesn't know what you want to build or not build so VS leaves it up to you to tell it.
