As with most things I suggest following Levar Burton's message and "take a look, in a book" (reading rainbow)... or sign up for a class at a local community college... but a book is a great place to begin.

So you have two things to learn, Eclipse and Java. Some discourage learning both at once, but if you're not in a hurry to learn Java, I don't see the harm.
Since you need to become somewhat capable at Eclipse to program in Java, start by following the Eclipse "getting started" tutorials. I think there's one (or more) on the Workbench when you first start Eclipse. You should try those and then here's a page of several more (ore the same?) to look at.
Once you feel capable in Eclipse and have written some basic Java programs to get there, find other tutorials or a free book on the Internet, or buy a book. There's a thread here that discusses beginner's books. If the free books aren't mentioned there, let me know, and I'll send you a link to one.
That's plenty to look through and get started. Come back when you need help.

I find for new programmers the Java for dummies is a good book. You may laugh at this but it breaks thing down in to layman's terms
