@modi - *what* = more of the DIC community interacting via video.

Or, since apparently I'm not cool enough to express even my genuinely enthusiastic opinion on this EXCLUSIVE DICTV stuff, I'll change my opinion to: DICTV is an exceedingly pretentious attempt to boost the egos of otherwise obscure coders who spend their time on an obscure website and get a kick out of screwing with lesser members of this elite society.

I'm just saying that because I'm almost incapable of ignoring a provocation or coming back without a reciprocally vehement response. Your target audience is obviously not people who provide encouragement. But to the dude who hosts this show: keep up the good work. And sorry if you thought I was being sarcastic or something. I can be, but I'm generally extremely sincere.

@AVReidy - quit being such a pussy. This is a constructive criticism thread. Other than the obligatory off-topic replies, everyone else replied with constructive criticism, suggestions, etc. So you were asked to elaborate on the opinion you expressed. You, know, YOUR OPINION on the "EXCLUSIVE DIC stuff." But instead, you had to throw another tantrum. If you hate it here, fucking leave. Otherwise, quit being so goddamned sensitive in the LOUNGE. You were being included, not dismissed, but apparently you're too socially inept to tell the difference.

Sorry modi, it was really no2's addition to your response that pissed me off. It made me think you were trying to get me to 'prove' that I knew what I was talking about. I'm kind of on edge after everyone was a dick to me in that thread I made a while back after I posted what I thought was reasonable.

@h4nnib4l - "you were asked to elaborate on the opinion you expressed" - no2's response made me think modi was also being a dick. You're right - I interpreted his question incorrectly, and it was just a question. It happens. And don't call me out on my social ability; I didn't understand some text followed by an uncalled for response. And I'm painfully aware in social situations, thank you very much.

We're all DICs. And some of us are dicks. And most of us have dicks. Nothing to get your panties bunched over.

All I was getting at was 'more' is an adjective and you were using it as a noun which confuses me on what aspect you wanted to see in greater degree or additional amount.

Haven't watched one yet, but I'll download them from Youtube. Thirteen episodes? So basically season 1 just finished and Skaggles is leaving? Whoa, this feels like American Idol. Now the guessing of who will host next begins... is it:

You can download them off Youtube, watch it in a PC, or if you want you can do it like me, I'd download it and maybe convert it to other formats. I think my phone plays FLV, so I guess, nah. Will let you know how successful my attempt is.

By the way, I agree with b9, you can add latest topics on the tech/IT world, but spice it up with comedy. Oh, of course, commentary about the current state of the forums. Straight up add some segments for comedy, I don't see why that's bad. That might turn on more viewers to DIC. The next Skaggles might even become a Youtube star. Don't know if that's a good thing though.

What? DIC is obscure? Come on.

Half a million members, 1.5 million posts: obviously the most obscure board on the net.

Yeah, I guess it's not that obscure, but it was a stroke of luck that I found this site before StackOverflow or something (not that I prefer that site - it's more useful but lacks character and community).

DIC probably gets a good amount of traffic, but why is it that only 0.003% of its 500,000 members are online at a given time?
