I am looking for a way to only allow certain files with .htaccess usin mod_autoindex. I have been using IndexIgnore filedenied1, filedenied2, filedenied3... the problem is everytime I add a file to the directory I have to change .htaccess if I don't want that file viewed. I know indexIgnore allows wildcards but I tried IndexIgnore !(fileallowed1,fileallowed2) but that does not work. I haven't found anything like IndexAllow (Even though they should add that) but does anyone know if there is a not wildcard for IndexIgnore? or any other way to do this?
apache mod_autoindex indexignore or indexallow?

Because Apache is a webserver & this questions is in regards to it's configuration, I'm moving it to WebServers & Hosting for better view.
