HI all,
I have to import a database to microsft sql servermangment 2008 studeio. Problem is I dont know the file format of sql file and How to this with this tool.
when I check the properties of file. it shows '00 File' as the type.
what I tried is created a new database and right click on it and go to task -> restore database.
there it doesnt clear identify the above file gave me a error

Have you tried opening the file in notepad to see if it is readable at all? If you can't read it, it is probably some sort of binary file in which case I don't think you can directly import it.
Never heard of the file format myself so it could be anything. Perhaps you can tell us where you got the file from? Is it an export file from some other database? What is the actual extension on the file name?
