My situation:
______________
I want to get into coding (seriously) for game development. Now, what I've got so far is that C++ is the ultimate language for development, and being FrostBite2 engine uses it, I'm eager to learn it...
______________
My experience:
______________
I've Javascript before and it doesn't seem too hard. I'm able to type up a "FizzBuzz" game with it.
It taught me about variables, strings, for, and if/else statements. So I know some really basic things, but that's it.
______________
My question:
______________
So, I'm thinking of starting off with the unity game engine and learn C# with it, just to get some basic info in.
Is this a good idea? Or should I start off somewhere else? I've heard python somewhere when searching the forums is
good to start off with, also something about this "vb" website.
So, tl;dr; Should I start off the way I'm going to? ( UNITY 3D + learning C# along with it ) OR start off with one of your suggested languages?
Thanks for answering!
