Maybe you know, what text editor uses codeacademy website? I really liked it and I want to download it or similar one.

They don't use a traditional text editor. It is a series of <div> and <span> tags which are attached to Javascript listening for key presses. You press a key, Javascript reads in that key value, prints the character to the corresponding <span> tag to display it.
